DU MSRE

Hey guys,

Does anyone know much about the University of Denver's MSRE program and how it might compare to some of the top programs out there (i.e. Cornell, MIT, Berkeley, etc.)? Would opportunities/networking be regional or nation-wide? Limited to development?

Thanks for all the help!

Almost all MRED programs are mainly regional. Go to school where you want to live.

Graduates get both development jobs and non-development jobs.

"DenverFinance" Thanks for the quick response. A follow up if you will...I know it's been discussed multiple times but with your experience, do you recommend part-time or full-time? And is the answer different for someone with no RE experience vs. someone with some experience?

It's going to be different for each individual. I went full time, and I think that the full time experience is superior, but I also have double the debt that I would have if I went part time because of living expenses and rent. Each month I regret going full time a little bit more.

I feel ya on that debt. I don't regret going back full-time per say, but man is it expensive.

Super regional, well regarded in Denver, and the place to go if you want to do Denver real estate. That being said its going to get you an entry level real estate gig in denver and most likely not much else.
