Eastdil not hiring?

Wanted to hear some thoughts on this and see if anyone has any info -- had a phone call with an Eastdil office on the east coast (not nyc), they said they've put a moratorium on hiring until their buyout from Wells has been completed, does anyone have info on whether or not they'll be hiring new analysts after this or what the timeline might look like? I understand the buyout should be completed by the fourth quarter which is coming up here

I saw that posting. They posted as being able to choose Charlotte / or Dallas. Makes sense with Ryan Reid, and Phil Brosseau both going to Eastdil. I wonder if they are hiring one analyst per office...

I also wonder if OP is talking about the investment banking piece of Eastdil being on a hiring freeze.

They just had 2-3 spots in Dallas posted recently as well.

As far as I know:

The postings for the one off cities in my market have been fulfilled.

Eastdil told me that they currently start recruiting in October, and November with analyst pool starting in July.

Not sure if the normal recruiting with analyst starting in July has been completed.
