Entry level interview help

Hello all,

New to CRE as a career prospecting hopeful. I have an interview with a developer for an entry level position. From what I can tell the position works with their capital markets team and supports asset managers and their director of finance.

I have only begun learning about CRE as of a couple months ago and I don't know what I don't know. Where can I find resources that broadly introduce topics in cre/capital markets? I've been able to access some capital markets reports for industrial/multi/hospitality for the city the position is located in but it's a little much to digest with only two undergrad classes in real estate finance. Any direction you can point me in would be appreciated.

I would recommend reading through old threads on this forum. They will give you a good sense of how different roles function within the industry. You’re an entry level candidate they aren’t expecting you to know how to do the job day one, but being able to speak intelligently to their business and why you’re interested in working there will show ambition. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.
