Equity modeling? Resources and tips for how to prepare and what to know?

Hi all, I am interviewing for an equity position at a company and want to prepare for possible next rounds. My background is mostly in agency underwriting so this is a bit out of my expertise. What technical questions may I run into, terms and modeling I may want to familiarize myself with? Some of the job description is below. Thanks!

This team delivers various equity, preferred equity and structured finance solutions to xxxx multifamily and healthcare Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, Bridge, and SASB borrower clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create equity models (proforma and waterfall) for potential deals and perform analysis of deals using sizing and modeling tools.
  • Help process and manage the preferred equity flow business including logging new deals in the group’s pipeline and providing initial sizing to the loan desks and originators.
  • Prepare equity packages for potential investors.
  • Participate in capital source meetings.
