Exit Options out of Co Living/Co Working
For example, let's use WeWork for Co Working and Common for Co Living. Starting as an analyst either out of college or with 1-3 experience, what are the exit opportunities if you decide to leave one of these companies? Meaning are you able to work somewhere in REPE, an Owner Operator, etc.
futureREmogul, sorry there are no responses yet. Maybe one of these topics can point you in the right direction:
If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
bump
Exit ops will likely be to owner/operators in possibly AM.
Transition to REPE would be tough. As an Analyst at one of those you’ll basically be doing heavy lease analysis modeling and market research.
you could prob get in to an acquisitions role but it'd be at the analyst level
You’re not getting into acquisitions straight from one of the roles without advanced degree.
Most of the time it’s vice versa with acquisitions/AM guys transitioning to a WeWork type role after a couple years on the buy side.
why not? i got in to acquisitions out of undergrad, surely someone with no acq experience but "RE" experience could come in as an analyst as well.
From what I've seen, WeWork / Common have exited to other start-ups in more senior roles.
