Failing Company...Advice?

Has anyone been a part of an organization that is in the obvious process of downsizing? Poor performance has my company selling off assets to pay back investors. People have left and the positions have been left unfilled and work is starting to stack up.

Is it worth it to stick around to see if things turn around or should I jump ship?

Network like your life depends on it. What happens if tomorrow they close for good? You need to make money, reach out to all the contacts you can and and get some interviews going. You have to look at how big the company is, after selling how many assets does the company own? If people are leaving and they aren't hiring anyone they have no money to even bring on new talent - will they even pay you next months salary?

I think if they build back up and you have a good relationship you can always go back.
