Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRT)
have any of your RE fellows heard of Federal Realty Investment Trust? i got approached for an opportunity there and just don't know too much about them. i think a ton of people recentley left (hence all the job postings at once). what do you chaps know about their culture, work load, growth opportunities and pay? i already searched the trenches of this forum and found nothing
All I know they own a ton of retail space in the Bay Area. Santana Row is one of San Jose's upity expensive retail areas. I think thats them.
I'd like to know some more too, I just heard about them today from the Valencia Group, who own the hotel in Santana Row.

Their East Coast development team is very legit. Can't speak to the company dynamics too much as they don't have a lot of very young staff, but they are well-regarded for placemaking in formerly periphery markets like Rockville MD and Bethesda MD.
I used to work there. Won't recommend it unless you want to work with old, miserable people
