Follow-up after Superday about offer
I recently had a super day on Wednesday for a RE role, and also have an exploding offer on Friday. The interviews went well enough, and I think I am competitive for a potential offer. I told the HR and the last of multiple interviewers about my competing offer on the day of the interview. Is it worth it to follow-up and remind them about the competing offer or should I just wait. The company I had the super day for is my top choice, and I would pick it over the competing offer.
Waiting for HR is honestly a train wreck since they are always slow. Worst case, take the offer you have and reneg but that depends on quite a few things.
Are you an experienced hire or coming out of UG?
This is for a 2023 Summer Analyst program. What about emailing one of my interviewers instead? I have told both them and the HR person at my interview about my situation.
