Foundation Repair - Warehouse Wall Settling
Hi, my firm owns an industrial building in CA that is seeing some settling underneath a key wall. So far the slab underneath has not shifted much.
The wall is about 300ft and has shifted downward about 2in in the past 25 yrs (1in in the last 5 yrs). It's shifting is somewhat isolated from the rest of the warehouse.
We have done some grouting underneath the building but it has not helped the rate of change. We are considering placing push piers about 30ft underneath the wall to secure it.
Does anyone have experience with foundation repair? What do you recommend?
Thanks!
Helical piers > push piers if the situation allows for it.
