Fractional, Contract, or Task-Based Roles?
Curious how others have successfully built part-time income streams through factional, contract, or task-based work in the CRE investment space.
Specific questions:
- What types of roles are actually in demand right now (acquisitions, asset management, capital raising, investor reporting, etc.)?
- What has been a successful method for sourcing these opportunities?
- What is the most attractive comp arrangement for the client (hourly, per-deal/task, retainer)?
For context, I've recently started my own investment platform and currently have capacity to take on additional projects. I'm aware many teams are operating lean today, which seems to create opportunities for flexible, high-value support.
