FT Offer Rescinded by a BB - Graduated college and unsure of how to land analyst position
Upon graduating from college I had received an offer to work within the CRE arm of a BB. My offer was rescinded because the BB is not performing well and was forced to layoff individuals. At this point I am unsure of how to move forward and secure an analyst position since I do not have access to on-campus recruiting and most online job postings looking for analysts are asking for a handful of years of experience. My only experience is a Top 5 PERE summer internship the year before. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.
That's really it. I see analyst postings online all the time. Good luck man
Reach out to career center to see if they can give you access to on campus resources.
Start cold calling/emailing IS or D/E brokers if you need a position quickly, someone will have just lost an analyst and will need help fast due to workload. Don't even bother with HR, the MD will push you through quickly if they need someone.
Come on OP, which BB?
