Anyone hear of the The Genau Group in DC? Had an interview with them today seems like a group of nice people that invests into new hires training. I'm applying there as a Spring intern in a leasing brokerage capacity, I don't think it's paid though. I don't know much about tenant rep, anyone's thoughts on going into leasing vs. IS?

Worked with them 7-8 years ago, they are not very highly regarded as a tenant rep shop. Tenant rep exit options are maybe the most limited in RE finance...I would encourage you to check out landlord rep if you are drawn to the leasing route.

In person. Senior in college for this spring semester. Plans got messed up last year due to covid cancellations so am trying to get internships this summer to hopeful get foot in door for FT offer in the coming fall

Tenant rep isn't the best opportunity path, limited opportunities. I'd look at around unless you wanna pigeon-hole yourself in tenant rep.
I know some people from college that work/ed there, no word on the firm but they were all nice people.
