Georgia Mega Rail - Market Effects
A podcast I was recently listening to mentioned mega rail that will essentially connect the port of Savannah (4th largest in the nation by volume) to markets across the US. This would allow containers to be shipped to some markets at an increased rate (reduce time by up to 24 hours).
How do you see this affecting Atlanta's industrial market? Charlotte's (or others in the Southeast) ? What about Chicago and Memphis?
Do you see this having an affect on other asset types in these markets?
