Government to remove Freddie and Fannie from its conservatorship

The government plans on removing Fannie Mac and Freddie Mac from its conservatorship, and to recapitalize the agencies via in IPO around September. Just curious what your thoughts are on this? In my opinion the Federal Housing Finance Agency chose the wrong time for this given how deeply the coronavirus has plagued the industry.
