GPA for Undergrad Recruiting

Freshman at an Ivy target undergrad headed into real estate finance recruiting next spring. Would a 3.7/3.8 GPA help or hinder me if I'm aiming for top firms (BX, GS, Starwood, etc) for asset management/acquisitions? Non-diversity with good ECs, should I try and raise my GPA to a 3.9, or am I fine with a 3.7/3.8?
