What's your guys' opinion on putting your GPA on resumes? Especially if you're a fresh grad. Thanks in advance :)

Career Resources
Yes.
Are you talking about IB / M&A or real estate?
Didn't notice this was RE, but I can't imagine it's too different. As a recent grad, and even for the foreseeable future, I think it's a given that it should be included.
However, I know little about the RE world, so take it with a grain of salt (unsure what's common in the industry in this regard) but I would keep my GPA.
yes fresh grad absolutely, i think even for a couple years after its fine
In Real Estate specifically?
oh sorry no didnt see that part no clue about for real estate
I recently got a job as an analyst in an acquisition's role for firm in LA (fresh out of college). Throughout my entire recruitment process I did not include my gpa on my resume given that it wasn't the most impressive. That said every interview whether in person or on the phone asked about it. So, if you do choose to exclude it be prepared to talk about why. If you have a solid gpa definitely put in on there. For me my gpa didn't affect my opportunities too much because I had 2 years valuation experience (similar to you) and I had Argus DCF & AE experience as well.
Howd you get the 2 years of experience? Undergraduate internships - or are you MBA?
Undergraduate internships - 6 months at a small boutique shop, then 1.5 yrs with CB in Valuation
If it's an entry-level role I'm not throwing the resume into the "no" pile because of a missing GPA, but would definitely ask about it in an interview.
Not to derail, but when do you take it off your resume? Had a good gpa from a state school - but am now a half dozen years out with some good experience under my belt. Realized it's still on there, should I remove?
Whats your 'on the fence, almost too low' GPA when you're looking at new hires?
Great question, I'd say anything lower than a 2.75 is going to need a nice story to show your personal growth, the best bet is getting in with a private group through relationships.
I agree with bolo up. I don't think real estate folks care much about GPA to be honest. Many developers and the like are entrepreneurial and would care more about your story and why you want to work in CRE/your previous real estate experience. Institutions like banks may have an HR GPA 'screen' to filter out applications showing a certain GPA or under, however. Obviously if you have a good GPA, say 3.5/4.0 or above, then by all means include it. It's just to show you have academic discipline is all.
