Greystar Development Analyst
I have a first round interview tomorrow for a Development Analyst role in the SE with the Senior Director of Development at Greystar. It’s just a phone call, but it’s kind of hard to tell what it would be like because the job description had no qualification requirements. I’m in Financial Services consulting, and have zero formal experience in CRE, but I’ve taken CRE courses like Adventures in CRE. I’m trying very hard to pivot out of consulting, and into CRE, MF Development is my dream.
Any tips on what I should know and how to prepare?
Has anyone had an interview with Greystar, especially development, and could expound upon their experience?
All I can say is Greystar is an extremely great firm to work at. It has resources and recognition of the national firm it is, but each individual office gets to act as a local developer. Pay is not as good as a BX/Starwood role but the experience, growth and WLB are just as good if not better in some cases.
That’s very helpful, can you give comp range if you now it. Is it at least $80k base for dev analyst, if you don’t have CRE experience but 2 YOE management consulting experience?
It may be office dependent but from what I've heard and seen it's usually around 80K + 20% bonus.
What about opportunity to grow within firm / get promoted ?
