How do I know if an internship at this firm is worth it?
Context: London based. Have already got quite a solid CV with a EB IB spring, and two real estate internships. I know someone who has a company that provides funding for partners developing energy transition assets (wind, solar and battery). It's a small team and the guy I know has no institutional experience, but has been very succesful. He has offered me this opportunity to intern as a kindness to me. I'm very interested in working in the real assets space (real estate, infra, energy)
How do I know if this internship will provide meaningful experience in terms of helping me land a role at an institutional player either in terms of knowledge or the technical skillset?
The alternative would be to continue finding real estate/IB internship experience.
