How do I prepare for a RE Capital Markets interview?

Greetings all,

I was just wondering how I would go about preparing for a capital markets interview for a multi-family development firm.

What kind of questions do you think they will ask? What kind of questions should I be asking? What kind of preliminary information should I be aware of/exposed to concerning RE Capital Markets?

General duties include: sourcing construction debt for dev projects, permanent debt for stabilized projects, underwriting acquisition opportunities, and managing relationships with equity partners.

Sounds more like an investments position vs. capital markets at a brokerage. Is this for an entry level position? If it is general technical questions they might ask will involve debt sizing, return calculations, valuation approaches, waterfall structures, etc. For fit, be prepared to answer why you want to work for the company and in the multi-family sector vs. retail, office, or industrial.

If they're of a certain size, get a list of their development projects and the transactions that they've been involved in

Hi there, I've got an upcoming re capital markets interview and was wondering how yours went. Could you break down those three questions you asked in your original post in relation to your experience?
