How do we feel about Colony Capital these days?

Hello everybody,

I am looking into some full-time opportunities on the equity side in Acq and I am curious what the view on Colony Capital is these days, particularly as an entry level analyst looking to start their career with solid branding/institutional experience/deal flow etc etc blah blah blah...

I know they had some difficulties with the Northstar merger and that lead to a number of growing pains/consolidation, particularly between teams, and was wondering if they had largely gotten over that?

The recent news doesn't seem too negative but its hard to get a pulse for what the pros think, especially as a lowly intern.

Would love thoughts!
