I previously covered specific markets in the private sector acq and lived by CoStar, BisNow, and the Business Journals for each of the market - now at a institutional investor and focus more on PERE and the like. In both cases though, IREI was a must, and GlobeSt has some interesting stuff. Really depends on whether you want to know trends or deals, deals you can look at the headline deals but really need to chat up brokers more, whereas macro RE/trends you can get from the typical industry rags.
