How much easier it to get a job after a 1st year analyst stint compared to landing that first full-time gig?
Probably an obvious question but wondering how much easier it would be now that I have a year under my belt and if anything were to happen to my job.
Assuming that the experience you gained is very relevant to the next job you are pursuing, then much easier. I have friends who did not do well in school or have relevant internships, but got boutique corporate finance jobs out of college and gained relevant experience. They had much better job opportunities after 1-2 years of working.
