How to best show prior work/modeling experience?

I have an interview next week with a small firm that does development and acquisitions of mostly retail properties. They'd like to see some prior analysis/modeling work that I've previously done. In my current position, I don't do a lot of true modeling and definitely not anything from scratch.

Do you guys think it would be fine if I found some OMs from CoStar or along those lines and just do some basic analysis and build out a simple model from scratch? I don't have a lot of experience and have mostly learned from Adventures in CRE. Thank you for any advice!
