Press releases are definitely good like what decrebepro said. I will have to add that typically it's going to focus on deals done in major markets. I'm assuming since you mention it being a "national LP" they have a lot of money and can easily buy into deals in major markets where a press release is generated. Those releases will often highlight any GPs they may have partnered with.

It's also not unusual for an LP to buy 100 percent ownership in the form of equity. I've seen it in major markets, so they may not necessarily partner up with someone, if you are referring to GP as "with who."

Asset managers also have annual reports where they are required to report everything on their balance sheet, it's another place you can look to see what their portfolio may consist of. It can take some time to thumb through it but it can give you a little more insight to which properties they may be invested in.
