Yes most others charge to see the title or deed, but to see just ownership you should be able to find that online. Haven't run across many areas that don't have that information online.

yup, costar is easiest. you can also do a search for tax information which is online. they might create a BS LLC to make the acquisition but then you can then google the address of the LLC to find the ownership group. costar is your best bet, also has property manager and some other stuff.

As @DC3" mentioned above, find the property on the city/town's assessing database. This will tell you the owner. If the owner's name is something like "Property A LLC", then utilize the applicable state LLC search website to find out who the Manager/Officer is.
