How to find ownership information for commercial property
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to find ownership information on a commercial property? I only have the address.

City/County sites will have this information
Just curious, do other cities/states charge to see the land title?
In my province they charge $7 per land title. And from what I know there’s no other way to find out who owns the plot.
Yes most others charge to see the title or deed, but to see just ownership you should be able to find that online. Haven't run across many areas that don't have that information online.
If you have Costar they have it too.
yup, costar is easiest. you can also do a search for tax information which is online. they might create a BS LLC to make the acquisition but then you can then google the address of the LLC to find the ownership group. costar is your best bet, also has property manager and some other stuff.
As @DC3" mentioned above, find the property on the city/town's assessing database. This will tell you the owner. If the owner's name is something like "Property A LLC", then utilize the applicable state LLC search website to find out who the Manager/Officer is.
