How to land a full-time REIB Analyst position after a non-IB summer internship?

I'm very interested in using my asset management summer internship at a very well known REIT to lateral into a full time REIB analyst position after graduation. I'm looking into BBs or places like JLL, CBRE, HFF, etc.

If I do some solid networking, do you think I will be well equipped to get interviews? I'm anticipating graduating with a 3.8 GPA from a semi target school for BBs.

Network hard as fuck. It works but you have to start early. Be patient it takes time.
