I don’t have an internship for sophomore year is what should I do is it over?

I had an internship freshman year for a small real estate shop but I didn't get one for this summer because I was trying too focused on increasing my gpa and missed a lot of the deadlines. I have a 3.6 at a target. What should I do for the summer?

Is it over?

Travel, volunteer, have some fun? Maybe take a art class or pick up a cool hobby? If you feel like it absolutely has to be something for your career, public speaking or ARGUS classes? Use this summer to build some soft skills and become a more interesting person in general.

Work is going to come at you fast enough. It is a marathon not a sprint. Go live a little.

Shit bro, no internship sophomore year? Id say your best bet is dropping out and using the money you would have spent on college to do your own deals.

Brutal stuff. Anything I can do to salvage the summer.

If you’re at a target ask a friend’s dad lmao. You probably have a good network and can find some paid work to do which is hopefully finance related. Work anywhere you think you’ll learn and onboard, or do summer classes/study abroad/volunteer. It’s not absolutely crucial to have an internship this summer but it’d be nice

Its obvs not over… Network a lot asap and apply to everything.

So for the summer should k just network as hard as possible and apply for as many internships as possible for junior year?
