Inflection Point - Commercial vs Residential

Hi All!

I recently found this site and was amazed, literally the perfect place for me at this moment. I wanted to introduce myself to the community; I'm currently a residential real estate broker in the NYC market. I started out in the rental leasing before working my way up to sales. With experience in properties up to $5M (multifamily). I'm currently at an inflection point in my career, not sure if I should continue down the residential brokerage path or jump into commercial investment sales.

My mind is boggled by the amount of possibilities available at this point. Hoping that this forum can help shed more light into my dilemma.

I have a background in development and connections that I'd like to leverage but don't have the structure to source deals. Looking to absorb as much lessons and mistakes to watch out for!
