Internal Capital Markets
I have been seeing a bunch of the larger RE Fund shops posting internal capital market roles, essentially teams that source financing's for the firm's equity positions.
Does anyone have an idea of culture / WLB on these teams? I assume it isn't overly cushy given the high acquisition / refinance volume at these large PE shops, but I also can't imagine it being as sweaty as a direct equity deal team?
They seem like interesting opportunities but also wouldn't be ideal if these roles are equal amount of work for seemingly less pay than deal teams.
Any insight would be great.
