International RE Firms

Hi! I'm beginning my real estate career abroad and wanted to continue along an international vein moving forward. Is anyone familiar with any real estate acquisitions or development firms that have offices in the US but work in Europe / South America (Brazil).

As far as I've seen, firms like Blackstone have regional offices so I figured an analyst wouldn't get to travel to SP from, say the NYC office. Unsure if travel every quarter is a more CorpFin/Consulting thing given the niche, local aspect to real estate. would love any advice in this!

I'm no expert but my guess is that a lot of the megafunds and PERE 100 firms will have global operations and global desks across every level (intern --> Senior MD). Specifically for Europe/Brazil, look at the PERE 100 list and I'm sure you will find some.

As for travel, I have no clue how this works so I won't pretend like I do. But my mother worked for one of the largest private companies doing credit PE for their real assets and was able to travel to NY, London, and all over China as that's where the investments were. Now that was back in late 90s, early 2000s so I'm not sure if they have mid-level people traveling like that anymore. If you're thinking as an analyst you'll be able to travel like that though, not a chance.
