Internship Presentation Topic Selection

Hi All,

My internship has informed me I have to choose a topic to present on. If you were in my shoes what topics would you like to present on. I have a few in mind, but would love to hear some other ideas. The topics can be based on anything CRE and presentations are 15-20 min.

Thanks

Who is the audience? Senior leadership, your team, all the interns? I would suggest a topic that is of direct interest to your firm (higher up the better) and one you have personal interest and can add some value/insight. This doesn't have to be mind blowing, but this is a huge opportunity to demonstrate you ability and understanding and make good impressions for an FT offer.

If you know of the major issues/topics of concern (and given COVID likely many) of the senior leadership, I would start there. If you can add unique personal value and insight, boom!

Example, Will WFH continue? A view from interns and Generation Z (just guessing your age, but I'd be curious to see what your group thinks of this). Pick something like this that makes sense for your firm's property type/function, etc.
