Internships after graduation?

I am a current undergrad senior on the job hunt for a CRE role with a graduation date of May 2024. The market is obviously not ideal at the moment leading to not many positions being offered in my region. I have applied to larger operating firms around the country and have been denied. I interned at an operator this last summer and have discussed returning there, but they aren't sure if they will be hiring or not due to a lack of deal flow.

I recently came across an internship posting for a capital markets position at one of the large brokerage shops (CB/JLL/CW), and in the description, it said they are taking candidates who are currently standing juniors and seniors graduating in 2024 or 2025. I have been interested in the IS/Debt/Equity brokerage side and thought this may be a good "trial" run.
I have connections to this shop from my last internship and am confident about going through the process, but I wanted to know the consensus of internships post undergrad. How would this look on my resume? Would it be odd to be the only graduated intern? Am I reading the post wrong/overthinking this entire thing? Would love some thoughts.

I’m graduating in December and am also applying to internships. It’s not ideal but it’s better than the alternative. If/when I accept an internship offer I will still be applying for FT roles
