I've been wondering this for a while and can't find anything on it. Say an investment sales team consisting of an MD, VP, associate, and analyst makes a $1M commission. How do they split this up with the firm / amongst each other?
I know "it depends" but give me some kind of solid ballpark that most would agree is market.
Also, how would it differ for an Eastdil that pays salary/bonus? What would you expect the impact to be on you if you worked at Eastdil and your team made $1M.

Not to be a dick but "it depends"
and not by brokerage to brokerage but by office to office and by team to team and within that team from deal to deal and to give you an estimate across the range of all those title...well its just impossible.
