Is Capital One commercial real estate side of company good on resume?

I was wondering if capital one is a good company to try to break into on the lending side? They seem to have a great reviews on Glassdoor but don't really know anything about how good the reputation they are in the industry. Would they look good on resume?

Yeah they are good. Especially in the healthcare RE space, solid name.

But FYI there used to be a poster on here, named tthhdd and the guy was basically out of his mind. Like there would be a thread about the best hotel REITs to work for, and the guy would just pop into the thread to talk about how much multifamily volume Fannie and Freddie do.

Or there would be a thread on REPE firms with the best compensation, and the guy would start rattling off the list of benefits he receives at capital one as if he’s an HR rep on a new associates first day.

I honestly miss him. He would’ve gone bananas for this thread.

Anyways, capital one is great, but mainly if you’re on the commercial / healthcare RE lending side. If you’re in the agency side (doing Fannie or Freddie loans), you may end up working for tthhdd and honestly that would suck ass
