Is real estate for simpletons? Should I switch industries?
Is real estate for simpletons? The business seems so repetitive and I’m not sure if it’s intellectually changing. Been in it for a year now. Looking to hear from others who left the industry.

Jk, but you just don’t work at an intellectually challenging place. I work at REPE fund that does distressed debt deals / complicated sub-debt / redevelopment deals and it’s plenty challenging. And pay is on par with traditional MM PE.
So move to a better job within RE or leave the industry
