Jay Shidler donates $7B in Commercial Real Estate cash flow to the University of Hawaii business school

If I were a real estate Baller, I would do this. So happy for my alma mater.

University of Hawaii alum Jay Shidler donates $7 BILLION DOLLARS in very stable real estate cash flow to UH's business school.

The donation includes 99-year ground leases which convert to fee-simple stakes in several office buildings worth $7 Billion over the next 100 years. Proceeds go towards building renovations, hiring of world class faculty, and providing scholarships and other program offerings. Amazing and inspirational. Mahalo, Mr. Shidler!
