Job Advice

Recently applied for a job in one state. Networked my way to secure an interview. Was flown out for a super day, feedback was that I did great. They then were only willing to give an offer to a different state then what was originally listed on the job listing. Any one have success in convincing a company to give an offer in the original state they applied for that the job was listed in?

Only asking because they did a similar thing to me. Not sure if it was a bait n switch or internal plans just changed.
