Jump from commercial to multifamily & mixed use
I'm a PM and have been trying to jump from the commercial side to multifamily and mixed use but have been having a tough time getting any interest. Multifamily developers and builders are pretty strict about wanting people with combustible type construction it seems. Has anyone had similar difficulties that they overcame? How can I get my foot in the door in multifamily?

How long have you been at it? I had no issue in my market with only ground-up concrete structure exp. Had multiple offers doing the same thing so I don't think it was a fluke.
About 12 years now. Started out on the GC side (small ones). Did you mostly resume drop online with developers?
