KKR RE Credit AM arm out of Dallas. IMO, pure BO and Servicing tasks.
Special servicing for the most part, but they also do some direct lending and B piece underwriting (correct me if I’m wrong about that last part). They have been adding people to their team pretty quickly since they are new. Do believe they also work a ton.
They are the SS arm of KKR’s b piece investing, so they would largely handle their CMBS and CLO surveillance, consents, distressed workouts, underwriting prospective new issue b pieces, in good times ramping up new CLO’s, etc. I’m sure they are very busy managing their CLO book especially with the heavy MF concentrations. Similar setup to the vertically integrated Rialto model. Their bond guys are out of NYC and their SS team is out of Dallas. Lindsey Wright is extremely intelligent.
Did you go through the interview process for this role? I have a Hirevue for it and am not sure what to expect so would appreciate any tips!
