Interviewed here maybe 4 months ago. Every one was pretty nice and they raved about the culture. Got nixed after round two, but not exactly sure why. Didn’t get asked any crazy technicals or really anything outside of the realm for an equity interview. Had a co worker I’m really close with also interview here that didn’t move forward with pretty good stats. Seems like they’re being really selective. Good luck!
What were the technicals like??
When I say technicals I’m really talking mental math, mental returns calculations, etc. There weren’t any. Really just talking through deals, markets that seemed appealing, experience with closings and background
Hi, are you interviewing for London role? How was the interview? How was the modeling test?
For analyst position?
Hi, no it is for the intern position (off cycle)
When do you have the interview? For which intake?
Interviewed at KKR last year for equity, my first few rounds weren't very technical (more to see if you are a fit), but they ended up getting very technical in the mid to late stage. Would be prepared to answer esoteric real estate questions.
A lot of it was on my past experience for the earlier rounds - seemed like whoever was interviewing was just utilizing their own knowledge to quiz me on what I did.
Interviewed for KKR debt fairly recently. Had 3 rounds of interviews and they didn’t ask anything overly complex but it wasn’t exactly behavioral either. Modeling test came after round 1 and it was super easy.
What did you have on the modeling test?
I have a few good insights/resources that may help, feel free to DM if keen
