Curious if anyone has any insights on this group in terms of where their investments team primarily sits (Denver vs NYC?), culture, comp, and any additional items. Have a very unique portfolio of investments, seems like they hire mainly those from REGL groups?

Equity team sits in Denver credit team sits in nyc, credit is largely full service upscale hotels, equity team recruits almost exclusively from BB/EB REGL groups
Insanely cool mandate and their investment teams are generally very bright/fun people from working with them / anecdotes I hear. Comp is very competitive with market even in the Denver office.
It seems like they do prefer RE background but not everyone is. They just like people interested in the space from what I've been told. Cool shop.
Made it to modeling exam, was 70% information that was not RE specific, much more traditional PE technical heavy
