Landing a Brokerage Job out of College

Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I am looking to land a CRE brokerage job right out of college, and would appreciate any tips/advice to stand out. I currently go to a state semi-target with a liberal arts major and shit GPA but stellar extracurriculars. I hold a broker's license in my state and have interned in brokerage and property management. I want to go straight into brokerage as I won't have any debt, a payed off car, and don't mind spending 12-18 months on my parents dime after graduation; and they don't mind either. I am a pretty extroverted person and have contacts at all major brokerages, but no official job offers. Any advice to stand out further would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Look into WSO's resume service. Could be that.

  2. Get a student ULI Membership for cheap. Go to events to network and use the membership database to get contact information.

  3. Network some more.

  4. Don't be afraid to take a market analyst or similar role with your desired company first.
