Learning new markets

Recently switched roles and now I’m covering completely new markets, and likely won’t be able to travel to them for a while.

What have you guys found to be the best way to learn different markets online? I’ve been reading research reports, but those only resonate so much before they just become numbers.

I know there’s no substitute for traveling, but for the next month or 2, I probably won’t be getting out there. So any insight would be helpful.
