Lease Restructuring Fees
Does anyone know how much a firm like Hilco Real Estate, or any other third party firm (I'm sure CB/JLL/etc have similar groups) charge operating companies who hire them for lease restructuring assignments? I am mainly interested in the retail sector.
For example, if a retailer like GAP hired Firm X with the mandate to achieve $25M in occupancy expense savings across all locations, how would Firm X structure their fee? If its usually a percentage of the gross amount of expense savings, does anyone know what typical percentages are? How about if they exceed the assignment threshold?
