Leaving Contacts
Accepted a new role. Boss asked that I share my book of contacts/network. I don’t want to, but also don’t want to “burn bridges”, and think my boss would take it personally if I don’t oblige. There are no live deals where these contacts would need to be tapped.
Advice on how to proceed?

Not in my experience. Boss has a very limited network, and is asking to tap mine because he will likely be SOL otherwise.
If you’re asking us it means you don’t want to do it. They are your contacts. Nothing will happen if you don’t share them. Just do your thing and don’t give them. Or do. Your choice. But don’t feel pressured. The firm doesn’t pay you anymore.
Why don't you remove some of the stronger contacts from the list that way you at least give him something.
