LinkedIn automatically post education updates?
Not a big LinkedIn poster/brag about what I’m doing. I updated my education for a masters program. Does it automatically update as a post like a job update even if I don’t specifically make a post about it?
I believe so, although I haven't kept up with LinkedIn for a good while. I bet you can turn that off if you wish, but if anything, some automated message that you started X job at Y company is exactly how you want it going out.
Under no means should you make a "I'm taking my talents to South Beach" post.
no it does not send a notification to your network, unless you add 'MBA Candidate' where you would normally add a job.
