Which Los Angeles Brokerage firms have the largest market share in Southern California? What would be the best place to look when getting started in RE as an analyst (Culture, growth, learning opps)?

Eastdil kills it in LA. Ton of deal flow, good exit ops, though the hours can be long from what I understand. I would start there.
Other firms that do a lot of deals in LA-- CBRE, HFF, Cushman.
How does MM do out there?
Not as familiar with MM. I'm sure they do a lot of deals, but generally smaller.
I had a coworker who began his career there. Pay is purely off of commissions there, so he hustled his ass off for $5mm deals and did alright for himself. He left for stabler income, and to get exposure to larger, more sophisticated deals. I imagine there would be high turnover in a shop like MM.
