Lupert-Adler

Hi Monkeys,

Wanted to know if anyone as insights on Lupert-Adler in Philly? I know they're a pretty big LP in the Philly/NYC/Mid-Atlantic area. Culture, Opportunities to advance, Comp, etc. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

FYI, it's "Lubert Adler." Historically a value-add / opportunistic shop covering all asset classes. Smart group of folks from a variety of background but younger employee base has more of an Ivy league background. Good comp, longish hours.

Never worked there, but have had direct business dealings with them over the years. Overall, I have a very high regard for Lubert-Adler, smart group and savvy investors. Dean Adler is a legit icon of the industry, so is Ira Lupert (who I think is retired now, he is much older than Dean). Can speak to the culture/pay stuff, but they strike me as hard charging finance-typed private equity people. So, I'd guess culture a lot like their NYC based competitors (they act like NY'ers, and I mean that as complement). Pay... I'd guess a "Philly" discount, but really have no idea. Either way, great name for a resume IMHO.
