Just interned there last summer in a different division but talked to some of the RE team interns a good bit. The groups SUPER sweaty and intense, very few MAM interns got offers. From what I understand decent deal flow so take that for what it’s worth. Macquarie as a firm is a lot more chill than most banks so there’s always a chance to lateral to another group.

Macquarie principal investing groups have been getting cleaned recently. Would avoid until things stabilize. Doesn't seem to have hit WSO yet but a few teams gutted yesterday.
I interviewed here and the VP that interviewed me was a total dick. Yawning during the interview and rubbing his eyes and incredibly low energy and monotone and didn’t smile once. I get you work a lot but cmon.
