Masters with no experience

Hey everyone so I’ve been on the job hunt for a while and it hasn’t been going that great. So I started thinking about doing maybe a Masters program since I don’t have any CRE experience really besides one retail internship one summer in undergrad. I really liked Georgetowns program but the admissions officer said it was more focused on professionals who had atleast a couple years of work experience under their belt. So my question is what are some of the best real estate masters program to do straight out of undergrad?

Would highly recommend that you try to get some work experience, I know its tough out there and this is easier said than done, but if you can get a few years under your belt you will be much better positioned for internships and fulltime recruiting if you do a masters. Otherwise you will be competing against your classmates, who have a couple years experience and they will be able to capitalize on the better opportunities. You might be in the same position you are in now and be forced to target entry level roles, but having forked out a lot of money for a masters. What roles are you currently targeting, and what market are you in ?

I live in Jersey so like somewhere between PHL/NYC. I’ve really been interested in Capital Markets and would love to work in debt financing but it’s been really hard to get one of those gigs especially with my lack of internship experience. At this point I’ll take any role in a CRE field. Been networking, applying but besides a couple phone interviews nothing has been going my way.
